Leona Lewis was an ordinary person before becoming famous. In this video they show us the before and after of her. This video let us know that Leona just like everybody else that was looking for an opportunity went to a casting for the TV show “ X Factor “  how Leona goes through all the steps in order to be in this competition. we can right away see the impression of the judges while Leona is performing. The magic that Leona has when she sings lives four of the most important judges of Hollywood speech less. Between thousands of young people fighting for the same dream Leona Lewis was one of the luckiest one that with her big talent convinced the judges for a chance to be in “X Factor”.  They show us how Leona with the time was becoming a better artist. When she wins the competition we can see that she can’t even believe it. And how pleasant she is of winning the first place of the competition plus the chance of recording her own CD.  People clamping at her and yelling her name is just a demonstration of how much her fans love her and how good she is. In the video when she’s wearing a black dress on stage by herself with the lights only pointing at her as a professional singer it let us know how much did Leona grow not only as an artist but definably also as a person. How our life’s can change when we least expected. 
     The song that Leona Lewis is singing in the video is call “ A Moment Like This”  and it talks about the dream that every person has in their life and of the opportunity that we all wait for to make that dream become true.  When she says “ can we make this dream last forever”  she’s trying to say that she hopes to stay where she is right now and keep going without looking down.  The song also says the everything changes in her life but she knows who she is and where she comes from. In other words that no matter how famous she becomes she would always have present that not to long ago she was an ordinary girl working in a restaurant.  Another part of the song says “I can’t believe this happening to me”  in an interview Leona says that she never thought of being a singer, she knew she was good singing but that was not what she wanted to be. If wasn’t for her boyfriend that convinced her to go to the casting she probably wouldn’t be where she is right now.  That’s why she can’t believe that something she never dream about is happening to her. This song has a very important message for everybody because we all get moments and sometimes we just don't know how to use the opportunity and we let it go, we can't smile from what we've got and appreciate every second of our life. My favorite part of this song is when it says “some people wait their life time for a moment like this” every time I hear this part it makes me think that we should never let go any good opportunity that life gives us. We should always risk it because that way we never going to have the doubt of what could it happen if we wouldn’t let go that chance.  Some things are only one chance opportunity and is in our hands if we let them go or take them without thinking about it. 
     In these videos they are using pathos because is very emotional and is base in a true story which I think is makes everything more emotional and realistic. If we really pay attention to the song we can realize that has a big connection with what is going on in the video. In my personal point of view I think we should never give up in our dreams and always fight for them because we never know if life is going to give us the opportunity of make that dream come true.
